I was first introduced to Martinsburg College through Tina, a representative here at Fort Polk. I immediately knew that the Medical Office Administration Certificate Program would be the perfect choice to pair with my current Associates degree.
Enrollment was a snap. Having been through college enrollment processes before, this was by far the easiest. Tina was available for any questions regarding enrollment and the MyCAA application process –which can be confusing.
I am a mom of two young girls and taking college courses, so adding another program to my plate seemed impossible, but it wasn’t. The program had goals to accomplish but I did it completely at my own pace; I was able to do my work when I had the time. I finished the MOA program in August 2014, and finally got around to taking the national certification in April. I am not a confident test taker, so I was pretty nervous about it.
I was relieved during my test when I realized how much I knew because of the Medical Office Administration program. I can proudly say I am a Certified Medical Administrative Assistant thanks to Martinsburg College. – Brianna | Medical Office Administration program
