Martinsburg College is accredited by the Distance Education Accrediting Commission.

In addition, the institution is approved by the Wyoming Department of Education.
Martinsburg College is a member of the National Council for State Authorization and Reciprocity Agreements (NC-SARA) www.nc-sara.org. NC-SARA is an agreement among member states, districts and territories that establishes comparable national standards for interstate offering of postsecondary distance education courses and programs. As a result of Martinsburg College’s participation in NC-SARA, the institution has authorization to offer distance learning programs in 49 states. The only state that does not currently participate in NC-SARA is California. Martinsburg College is approved to enroll students who live in California as the institution is registered with California’s Bureau of Private Postsecondary Education as an Out-of-State institution.
