This privacy policy sets out how Martinsburg College uses and protects any information provided from visitors to this web site. Martinsburg College (MC) values the importance of online privacy. Consequently, we collect and retain personal information only to the extent necessary to provide required services to students. MC will collect only the information required to comply with requirements of the state of West Virginia, its accrediting agency, the Distance Education Accrediting Commission (DEAC), the West Virginia Council for Community and Technical College Education (WVCCTS), and the requirements of any third party employer/branch of service/agency, funding a student’s tuition. Voluntarily Provided Information
The institution may collect the following user provided information to include name, address, telephone numbers, email addresses, social security number, date of birth, gender, program selected.

Information collected automatically is used for internal statistical purposes and is used to make improvements to the web site.
MC does not sell or rent any personal information submitted by users of the institution’s website to any third party.
