Student Identity Verification Procedures

Martinsburg College verifies the identity of the students who enroll in its programs. During the admissions process, students are required to submit their government-issued photo ID. Upon registration, students are assigned a unique username and password to use to access the online courses. Students can only enter Martinsburg College’s classrooms and submit work through this login. In addition, students enrolled in degree programs are required to take a series of proctored exams throughout the duration of the degree program. Students are required to show their government-issued photo ID prior to the start of the proctored exam.

These measures are designed to ensure that the student who earned the credit is the same student who completed the coursework.
