Information for Students selected for Verification
The Department of Education may select your financial aid application to verify the information reported on your FAFSA. Students selected for verification will receive a written notice directing them to login to the Financial Aid portal. Once in the portal, students are again notified of their selection for verification and given instructions and information regarding the process, including the documents required and the student’s responsibilities. Upon completion of verification, students are notified to return to the financial aid portal where they are notified of any changes.
