Allied Health Instructor – Remote or at office location in Martinsburg, WV
Two-year online college seeks experienced allied health instructor to provide both one-on-one and group instructional support. Programs include Medical Office Administration, Electronic Health Records, Health Administration Technology, Medical Billing & Coding, Medical Equipment Preparer/Sterilization. Programs are offered at the certificate and associate degree level.
Essential Job Functions
Provide academic support to students via a variety of methodologies including telephone, video call, e-mail, social media, LMS messages, and webinars.
Create videos, lectures and webinars based on course material
Track student progress and retention
Provide necessary and consistent outreach to students
Participate in course development and revision
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Bachelor’s degree in Medical/Healthcare Administration, or similar
Minimum of two years’ experience in the medical/healthcare administration field.
Experience in teaching preferred
Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
Excellent student service skills
Learning Management System (LMS) experience preferred
Relevant industry certifications preferred
Must be happy working as a team player
Demonstrates a commitment to promoting a positive work and learning environment
